Handmade British OAK Chopping Boards (Various Sizes)
Handmade in Herefordshire. Solid oak boards in three sizes, built as proper kitchen tools rather than decorative extras — unique grain on every piece, finished for daily use.
Main description
The board's are one off pieces, selected oak, cut and finished by hand, with the grain left to do the talking. No two boards match. Colour runs from pale gold through warmer brown; knots and figure are part of the timber, not defects to sand out.
They are available in three sizes so you can choose by how you cook — a compact board for daily prep, a mid size for weeknight chopping, and a larger board for carving, cheese, or serving at the table.
Each board is made to order in the Herefordshire workshop using traditional joinery alongside modern methods.
We stock them because they sit with the rest of what we sell — well-made, British, meant to be used for years.

• Three sizes
• Sustainable timber, traditional and modern techniques

Care
Hand wash only. Do not soak or put in the dishwasher. Dry promptly and stand on edge. Oil occasionally with a food-safe board oil or wax to keep the oak from drying out. With that, the board will darken and take on a working patina rather than looking tired.
